2013 Nissan 370Z Preview at Chicago Auto Show
Nissan is previewing the new lines of the 2013 370Z at the Chicago Auto Show this month. The changes are subtle, making the car more curvy and adding features like LED daytime running lights. The 2013 Z will be available in the same three flavors currently available, the Coupe, the Roadster, and the NISMO. No real changes in equipment have been announced. The 2013 Z will still offer the 3.7 liter DOHC V6 rated at 332hp available with a six-speed stick or seven-speed automatic transmission. Eighteen-inch wheels will be standard, nineteen-inch wheels come with the Sport Package.
The NISMO Z for 2013 won’t have the same front fascia redesign, but will feature racing inspired styling inside and out. Nissan says the NISMO Z will sit on super-lightweight forged alloy nineteen-inch wheels and specially tuned suspension. The 3.7 DOHC V6 will have an optimized ECM plus an “H configured” exhaust system which will boost the the horsepower up to 350hp and boasting 276lb-ft of torque. The NISMO will be available only with a six-speed stick.
Nissan says more details on the 2013 Z will be forthcoming as the projected sale date in June 2012 draws near. Check out the quick tour video from Nissan below.
