2013 Mustang Boss 302
Catch a sneak peak at the 2013 Ford Mustang Boss 302 in the YouTube video above featuring the Laguna Seca edition. Ford says that the Boss 302 for 2013 will be pushing 444hp with 380lb.-ft. of torque transmitting all of that power through a 3.73 rear end. In addition to the loud badges and stripes, the Boss will be available in school-bus yellow. Aggressive spoilers and smoked tail lamps add to the loud and proud styling reminiscent of the original Boss. The 2013 Boss 302 tames all of that power with four-piston caliper brakes with 14 inch rotors up front and anti-lock all the way around. Adjustable shocks and struts to adjust ride and handling will be sitting on 19 inch black alloy wheels, 9 inches wide up front and 9.5 inches in back (ya know, for people who don’t like being able to rotate their tires easily). A short throw 6-speed stick and Recaro seats round out the Boss 302 extras for 2013. The look and power of this monster isn’t for everybody. Some will find the hockey stick striping and loud badges too much, but that’s okay. This car isn’t for the front-wheel drive “sports sedan” crowd, anyway.
