Ferrari F12TDF Debuted at Finali Mondali

Ferrari debuted the F12TDF at the Finali Mondali at Mugello Circuit in Italy on November 8, 2015 and was a sight to see. The limited edition car has only been seen by a scant few until now. According to the guys at AutoBlog, three of the cars wowed the crowd at Mugello. Ferrari says it will only produce 799 of these fast beauties.  You can watch Ferrari’s official video of the F12TDF above.

Normally Aspirated With Plenty of Punch

Ferrari engineers tweaked the normally aspirated 6.3 liter 65° V12 from the Berlinetta to produce 769hp and 520 lb-ft of torque, 80% of which is available starting at 2500 rpm. They also slashed curb weight by 110 kg and added a new rear-wheel steering system Ferrari calls the Virtual Short Wheelbase. This rear-wheel steering system employs an active rear axle that allows the rear wheels to pivot around a vertical axis and deliver the optimal steering angle. Upgraded brakes and aerodynamics round out the changes compared to the Berlinetta.  Upgraded aerodynamics increased down force over the Berlinetta by a whopping 87% and upgraded brakes can bring the F12TDF rounds out the changes compared to the Berlinetta.

Gone In 3 Seconds

As expected, the limited edition F12TDF delivers blistering performance.  The F12TDF launches from 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 2.9 seconds, 0-200 km/h (0-124 mph) in 7.9 seconds, and tops out at over 211 mph. The upgraded aerodynamics have increased downforce a whopping 87% over the Berlinetta. When you decide to stop, the F12TDF can take you from 100-0 km/h (62-0 mph) in 30.5 meters (100 feet) and 200-0 km/h (124-0 mph) in 121 meters (397 feet).
